What’s No-Mad?

No-Mad is India’s emerging contemporary brand in Home Décor and Lifestyle Retail founded by Anuj Kothari. No-Mad is a child of India with an imagination born to wander. From textiles to ceramics, furniture to cloth-bound books, No-Mad products are devoted to and inspired by Indian habits, manners, and lifestyle. Whenever possible the expert hands of Indian artisans create No-Mad’s collections, infusing them with the techniques, traditions, and know-how passed down by generations. Like India herself, No-Mad celebrates the subcontinent while adopting and adapting the best from elsewhere to make something entirely its own. They create authentic, useful and beautiful products that express a luxury always felt, but not necessarily seen, and in their materials and construction, a return to sources and traditions.

Who are they looking for? 

After five years of a strong online presence, No-Mad is now looking to open store/s in Mumbai for which they are hiring a Marketing Manager and Sales Associate.



  • Take care of all offline activities for the brand (stores, pop ups and events).
  • Provide seamless integration between online and offline experience for the brand.
  • Email, call & prepare sales pitches for prospective clients.
  • Maintain end-to-end relationships with all the partners (Interior Designers, Architects, Wholesale Buyers and Retail Customers) to ensure their queries are resolved, while converting them into long term relationships.
  • Identify and present proven and innovative project management solutions to plan, staff, implement, control, and evaluate creative projects while maintaining annual marketing strategy, media plans, budgets, and calendars.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Sales/Marketing or any communication related job in Premium Home Décor Retail.
  • Passion for all things Design, Lifestyle and Retail is a MUST.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate the sales team to meet sales targets while ensuring highest levels of customer service and a kinetic brand experience.
  • A background in high end retail / interior design preferred.



  • Driving sales and overall store profitability in a professional manner, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Offer a welcoming environment to the client by offering a high standard of customer service
  • Develop a sense of pride for our store and products by acquiring an extensive knowledge of our entire inventory including home textiles, furnishings and décor accessories.
  • Day-to-day operations of the store.
  • Maintain stock and inventory for the store.


  • Passion for all things Design, Lifestyle and Retail is a MUST.
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience in a Luxury Retail environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of Retail software (Tally, Billing Software, Inventory Management and POS operations a must).
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility in schedule, weekends and holidays are required.
